- Allan Lichtenstein, founder and director

Service dogs are seen as important medical tools that can help people with physical or psycological disabilities. They undergoe a rigorous training program and must all meet the same standards. The process, for any breed—pure or mixed—it can take up to 2 years and costs around $25,000.

Our director Allan Lichtenstein started training service dogs and realized that many people who could greatly benefit from a service dog can’t afford one.

Service Dogsz was established to help those in need of a service dog to obtain one.
